Arizona Cardinals Nick Eason to hold 2nd Annual Gospel Fest and free Youth Camp

John Gray to Perform at Gospel Fest, Free football skills camp for 300 youth


LYONS, GA – Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Nick Eason will be hosting the 2nd Annual Nick Eason Foundation Gospel Fest on Friday, June 7th at 7pm (Southeastern Technical College, Toombs Auditorium).  In addition to the free Gospel Fest, Nick will be hosting a free youth football skills camp for children grades K-12th on Saturday, June 8th at Toombs County High School.  The Nick Eason Foundation is sponsoring both events.


Nick Eason’s 2nd Annual Gospel Fest

Nick Eason’s faith has always been an integral part of his success on the football field, and the strength behind his endeavors off the field.  Eason is humbled by the opportunity he has to share his own, and to help strengthen the faith of others through his Annual Gospel Fest.

The 2nd Annual Nick Eason Foundation Gospel Fest is slated to have minister, actor, comedian, and playwright John Gray and other notable acts perform, along with guest appearances from some of Eason’s fellow NFL colleagues.  The Gospel Fest will start at 7pm in Toombs Auditorium at Southeastern Technical College on Friday, June 7th and admission is free.  In addition to the Gospel concert, a raffle will be held during the event in which all proceeds will benefit the Nick Eason Foundation.


Nick Eason’s 2nd Annual Youth Football Camp

The 2nd Annual Nick Eason Foundation Youth Football Camp is set to kick-off on June 8th at Toombs County High School.  The camp is designed for children grades kindergarten through 12th.  The camp will be open to the first 300 pre-registered campers.  Registration will begin on April 1, 2013 and close May 17th, 2013.  Campers may register the day of the event, however once the 300 spots have been filled, we cannot guarantee a free camp t-shirt, only camp participation is guaranteed.

The camp will be broken up into two individual training sessions based on the camper’s grade.  The morning session will take place from 9am until 12am with check-in beginning at 8am.  The morning session will be tailored for the k-6 grade campers.  The second session will take place in the afternoon from 1pm until 4pm, with registration beginning a 12:30pm.  The afternoon session will be customized for 7-12 grade campers.  Following the morning and afternoon sessions, each camper will receive a free lunch.  Pre-registered campers will also receive a complimentary t-shirt and an autographed souvenir.

Campers will be coached and have direct interaction with Eason himself, as well as some of his fellow NFL colleagues. Space is limited so be sure to pre-register your camper beginning April 1, 2013.  To register, click here.
